Engineers at HPC Systems, Inc have successfully installed and tested VMWare ESX 3.5 on a 32 core AMD Opteron system. The platform under test is A5808-32. The team successfully installed, configured and tested several major features of ESX Server including iSCSI volumes, NFS mounts, Virtual Center 2.5, VMotion and support for SATA storage.
