Run VMware Infrastructure Client

the default host is localhost, change it to our IP of Virtual Center Server 192.168.10.45 and log in

Check “Do not issue any security warning..” or install this CA from VMware VC server to your browser.

Now, we’re in Virtual Center environment but we don’t have any data center yet. See the new tab Getting Started and new intuitive help from this console. It’s time to create new DataCenter, named VCOMTech_Datacenter.

Add our ESX host to this data center. Enter name of ESX server (host), root as username and root password

Click on Next to proceed

VC is processing the add of our stand-alone host

Let’s see what we have by clicking on Summary tab
